Vision and imagination

Company History

Since 1989, Sheraton Systems has been at the forefront of insurance technology, initially developing bespoke solutions for Lloyd's brokers and syndicates and more recently, Websure, a highly flexible and innovative insurance system for underwriters and scheme brokers.

"Websure is fast becoming a leading software platform for the insurance industry."

The company's early systems were written using Oracle and ran on Unix platforms. In the mid 1990s however, the development team moved to Microsoft platforms where it was felt that there would be greater opportunities to exploit emerging Internet technologies.

Sheraton has been a Microsoft Business Partner since 1995 and is heavily committed to Microsoft SQL Server and .NET technologies.

In 2003, the company launched Websure, an innovative and exceptionally feature-rich underwriting and broking system. Using the latest Microsoft technology, Websure provides previously unknown levels of functionality and remarkable value for money.

Sheraton Systems Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Holman Group at Lloyd's.
