Websure Expands into North America Supporting R&Q Risk Services Canada Limited.
Websure, the independent UK insurance software specialists, has been appointed as the software partner for R&Q Risk Services Canada which, backed by 3 Lloyd's syndicates, recently started trading as an MGA underwriting professional liability and management liability cover.
Websure software now supports R&Q's MGA trading operations for both Canada and Europe.
Websure Managing Director Paul Ring stated "Our uniquely flexible software is ideally placed to support the growing MGA market both within the UK and overseas - in addition to the traditional Broker and Insurer markets. Coupled with its dynamic web engine "WebX" which enables web portal-based solutions, Websure is becoming respected as the complete Insurance administration package for an increasing number of applications."
Tim Riddell Head of R&Q's MGA operation explained "a key element for choosing Websure as our system provider was the need to get our MGA vehicles operational with the minimum of fuss and without delay after FSA and/or Lloyd's authorisation had been received. In this respect Websure were the ideal partner and were able to ensure that both our MGA vehicles were in a position to trade with l full functionality on day one. Their WebX platform particularly impressed us and allows us to trade seamlessly from the same platform in whichever territory we choose, a key aspect for the future growth of our MGA plans".
